TGA was created out of a desire to live life boldly, embrace the unknown, and inspire others to do the same. What began as a simple idea - documenting the journey of an average couple stepping beyond their comfort zone - has transformed into a global adventure.
Along the way, we’ve found a deep passion for shining a light on rescue efforts and conservation causes around the world. TGA is more than just travel; it’s about pursuing passions, exploring the world’s hidden corners, and showing that anyone can take the leap toward their dreams. Every story, experience, and destination we share serves as a reminder that life’s greatest moments come from daring to make "The Great Attempt."

🛥️The Tour: 2 Hour Cruise
We went with Mitre Peak Tours & it was lovely
⚓️ the boat was smaller and we were able to get close to the action - even went underneath one of the bigger waterfalls which was ICONIC! 🤩

☔️ Waterproof layers!
You WILL get wet so make sure to bring a rain jacket or poncho 🌧️
*we stood directly under the waterfall so obviously got soaked so next time we will bring waterproof pants too 🤣 *
🥶 it will get cold so make sure you are bundled
☀️ 🌧️ Don’t be discouraged if the weather doesn’t hold up.
We were a bit nervous we wouldn’t see as much as we wanted cause it was. Rainy day however the rain made the waterfalls even more intense and beautiful! 😍

Did you know only 1% of Australians have ever seen a platypus?! And being American the percentage of this happening if even smaller! 🤯

✨ TIPS ✨
🕰️ Timing: Platypus are most active at dawn and dusk.
🤫 Noise: They are extremely skittish; remain quiet and watch for small rings or ripples in the water rather than a large splashing animal.
🗓️ Season: They are commonly seen during the colder months (when they need to forage more for food) and during the spring breeding season
‼️ And as always lets be kind protectors of this Earth - ONLY visit if you will respect their space & environment 😉

We're Rhett and Lynnae, the adventurous duo behind TGA ✨
A little about us: Rhett hails from the great state of Texas, while Lynnae is from a small town in Pennsylvania. We met in Hollywood, of all places, while studying the art of storytelling at a film program. From there, our journey began.
As a married couple with a shared love for travel and discovery, we left behind the ordinary to embrace a nomadic lifestyle, checking off bucket list destinations one by one.
Through TGA, we hope to encourage others to seek discomfort, chase their passions, and explore the beauty of the world, all while having a little fun along the way. With an authentic, down-to-earth approach, we aim to make adventure feel accessible to everyone!
