TGA was created out of a desire to live life boldly, embrace the unknown, and inspire others to do the same. What began as a simple idea - documenting the journey of an average couple stepping beyond their comfort zone - has transformed into a global adventure.
Along the way, we’ve found a deep passion for shining a light on rescue efforts and conservation causes around the world. TGA is more than just travel; it’s about pursuing passions, exploring the world’s hidden corners, and showing that anyone can take the leap toward their dreams. We were in SE Asia at the time we were looking at our next leg of our world backing trip & we knew western Europe could be EXPENSIVE but we also knew that life is too short to not attempt the things on your bucketlist or Apocalist as we call it! ☺️
So we got to planning how could we visit the markets without draining our bank account, we had to cut costs… so why not cut out the BIGGEST cost…🧐

We saw a post for catsitting that would allow us to stay in an awesome city in Germany for a month! NO RENT - just cuddles in exchange which honestly is the best deal ever! 🎉

There are six Christmas markets throughout the town, each like its own little village, all within walking distance. With over 180 stalls, you’ll find everything from handmade gifts to mouthwatering treats 🥨🍫
Colmar is said to be the inspiration for Beauty and the Beast, and it’s easy to see why 🏰
If you find yourself in the Alsace region of France, we highly recommend visiting both the Colmar and Strasbourg markets as they are very close to each other and are truly magical!

We're Rhett and Lynnae, the adventurous duo behind TGA ✨
A little about us: Rhett hails from the great state of Texas, while Lynnae is from a small town in Pennsylvania. We met in Hollywood, of all places, while studying the art of storytelling at a film program. From there, our journey began.
As a married couple with a shared love for travel and discovery, we left behind the ordinary to embrace a nomadic lifestyle, checking off bucket list destinations one by one.
Through TGA, we hope to encourage others to seek discomfort, chase their passions, and explore the beauty of the world, all while having a little fun along the way. With an authentic, down-to-earth approach, we aim to make adventure feel accessible to everyone!
